Daniel Ross is a jazz guitarist making his name known in his hometown of Buffalo, NY.  He started his career in a trio while studying abroad in France, and returned to the States with a style all his own.  Seeing first hand, the dedication and passion needed to pursue music from his parents’ own careers, his work ethic quickly put him in high demand.  Since returning home, his talents have placed him on stage alongside some of Buffalo’s finest musicians, such as Jerry Livingston, RiShon Odel, Daniel “DP” Powell, Carmen Intorre, and Will Holton to name just a few.

Three years after taking the Buffalo Chips to a national appearance in New York’s Lincoln Center as director and arranger of UB’s award-winning a cappella group, Michael King set out to conquer a new stage and a new audience.  In his storied career as soul man and songwriter, King has won national awards for his solos and arrangements, he’s won karaoke contests trying to cut his teeth on tough Queen City crowds, and he won the respect of Buffalo’s top jazz and R&B musicians singing backup for soul diva Christy Smothers.

While tracking guitar with Ross on King’s debut EP, the two cemented their music kinship, and joined forces to bring some groove back to Buffalo.  Their shows are always exciting, filled with reimagined covers just as eclectic as the artists themselves.  They’ll put their own spin on blues and pop standards and 90s rap classics, covering artists such as:

- Alex Clare
- Bill Withers
- Billy Joel
- Bob Marley
- Bruce Hornsby
- Cee-Lo
- Chick Corea
- Foreigner
- The Fugees
- Gladys Knight & the Pips
- Jimi Hendrix
- John Coltrane
- John Legend
- John Mayer
- Maroon 5
- Marvin Gaye
- Miles Davis
- Michael Jackson
- The Script
- Stevie Ray Vaughn
- Stevie Wonder
